Her dedication led her to explore the nuances of jazz vocals at Romanos Melikian College, and the intricacies of opera under the tutelage of Professor Julieta Nazarian at the Yerevan State Conservatory of Armenia.
As a member of esteemed ensembles such as the Tehran Opera Ensemble, Dian Choir, Tehran Cultural Choir Ensemble, and the Laudate Singers in Canada, Mahtab showcased her prowess as a soloist, captivating audiences across continents. From enchanting performances in productions like Hansel & Gretel Opera to mesmerizing concerts with Vino & Forte at prestigious venues like Highcroft Manor, BMO Theatre and Annex her musical virtuosity knows no bounds.
With over 15 years of experience in teaching Singing and piano to students of all ages, Mahtab's passion for nurturing talent and guiding aspiring musicians along their musical journey shines through. Currently based in North Vancouver, Canada, she continues to inspire audiences with her heartfelt performances, leaving an indelible mark on the world of music.
Soroush Shahres began his music journey at an early age, studying traditional Persian and world classical music under Maestro Arsalan Kamkar. He earned a Bachelor’s in Violin Performance (2008) and a Master’s in Viola Performance (2010) from Yerevan State Conservatory.
A participant in UNESCO peace concerts with Maestro Ino Mirkovic, Soroush has experienced music’s power to unite cultures. As a passionate educator, he has taught violin and viola, preparing students for recitals and festivals in Iran and Armenia, while fostering collaboration in ensemble performances.
Soroush has performed with the Armenia Chamber Music Orchestra under Aram Gharabekian and is a permanent member of the Tagharan Ancient Music Ensemble, exploring Armenian medieval sacred hymns. In Canada, he has worked with Vino & Forte and Tambura Rasa, expanding his experience in alternative classical and fusion world music.
Taymaz Saba is an experienced composer and choir conductor. He studied composition, conducting, and classical singing in France, England, and Canada, where he has inspired others through his expertise. Taymaz leads choirs, fostering creativity and musical understanding. His diverse background in classical music and global traditions enriches the performing arts community, helping audiences develop their passion for music.
